A Tale of Two Thanksgivings

Brayden enjoyed not one – but two! – Thanksgivings this year as he celebrated on Thursday with Daddy at a friend’s house and on Friday with Mommy, Nana, Grampa and Uncle Ryan.

Brayden spent Thanksgiving day proper with Brian at the home of Brian’s co-worker, Mike. They had a big party with more than 20 guests, and little B had a great time playing with the older kids and meeting new friends. He was dressed up in his Thanksgiving best and looked very handsome next to his Daddy. Here are a couple pictures from dinnertime.

Brayden had so much fun that when Brian brought him home to my house he was dead asleep!

Then on Friday, Brayden and I packed up and went to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving Part II. Nana timed our arrival perfectly, and we walked through the door and right into a delicious meal. And there’s no sense in having a 14-month old at Thanksgiving if you don’t record him having a ball with mashed potatoes so here’s a quick highlight reel of Brayden cutest moments.

We had such a good time, and Brayden was adorable in his “turkey” tee shirt Nana got for him.

On the way home, Brayden fell asleep full and happy. Brian and I are so lucky to have him in our lives. It puts the meaning of Thanksgiving in a whole new light.

  1. what a wonderful video and pictures. Even though we were far away in Connecticut we were still a part of it. Thanks Beth for showing us that. I'm glad that you had a great ThanksGIving and my best to the whole family.
